Loan Calculator & Tax Savings App Reviews

Well, first of all its only for the US so useless for anyone in Canada. Secondly, no balloon payments or extra payments can be added. And thirdly, cant compare different time value mortgage payment schemes. Overall, just not a complete app...

As a realtor I found this to be a great way to prompt me to ask the right questions and great email format to send to my lending agent. I say give it a shot.

When you adjust the percentage of property taxes it doesnt adjust the cost of the taxes. ??? This feature needs to be fixed or else its worthless.

Thankfully this was free! Needs fixes, the taxes are inaccurate. Should be able to change tax rate. Not useful for REALTORS in California.

For a reasonable ball-park calculator, this hits it out of the park. Im now looking for the paid version because I like this and would like the extras too. Thanks for a great app.

You need to add frequency of payments. Whats if I want to pay every other week instead of monthly? Also what does the federal tax rate have to do with my mortgage payment. There doesnt seem to be anything about tax returns, so its pretty irrelevant, no?

Now I know why it was free. Its calculations were way off.

Excellent app. Even had more detail than I expected by allowing me to calculate total costs on a 15 yr loan and then compare that to a 30 yr at the same rate. Love it

It seems like the author internally didnt remove the button to force users to press ads, not a right way to get ads revenue.

I dont really understand why the bad reviews. So what, if there are ads! This is the best "free" mortgage app around. The tax rates can be adjusted just fine. I am a Las Vegas Realtor, so Ive found this to be very useful. Thanks!

Makes bad assumptions on default values for many field. Then when you try to correct those fields it forgets previous entry on other fields.

The only way to input the number of "Points" is to use the slider which is ultra sensitive. It is so sensitive it is takes several tries to get it to stay where you want it even when I am sitting down with my phone on my desk. Every time I lift my finger off the slider the points change. PLEASE add the feature to type in the points with the number pad! Once this change is made I will buy the full version but not until then. Other than that, this is a great mortgage calculator and probabally the best available in the iTunes store.

Has a simple or advanced feature so you can add in taxes and insurance. It will also figure out your debt to net income ratio.
