Loan Calculator & Tax Savings App Reviews

This app crashed on me a couple of times in just a few minutes of usage, and even while it was running, the user interface was hard to use. As just one example, the slider bar to set the interest rate was useless, since it jogs the value by about 0.25 to 0.5 % when you lift off your finger.

Its got some bugs, but nothing that gets in the way of getting a good detailed analysis. Best mortgage calc I could find in the app store

This app does a lot and allows you to specify lots of things. So far very happy with it. Its very handy.

This is a really good app! It gives great detailed information. One thing that would make it better is if you could add in additional principal payments. I know we always add a little additional each month. It would be great to see how this shortens our loan on the amortization table. Over all, its a very useful app!

Need better UI, need to be able to add more than 1 calc. It is simple but not convincing to invest in buying the full version.

I love the tax savings feature. It would be nice to calculate potential savings and term reduction of an additional amount applied to principal monthly or at a specific interval like, month 20 for example. Overall, a pretty nice app;)

We tried to find an app for my dad to forecast his mortgage payments. Right of the gate they said it was roughly $500 a month for property tax on a $125,000 loan. Very bad math and it mucked up all our calculations. Guess you get what you pay for. :)

This is, by far, the most complete mortgage calculator I have ever found, online or otherwise. Though not intuitive, it is very useful for those looking to generate mortgage-specific numbers, like the front-end/back-end ratio; I used it while reading articles, etc. When I bought a house. I tried many other mortgage calculators, and this is the one I always came back to.

Theres simpler apps out there.

Ive tried many of them. This is by far the most comprehensive. Giving interest post tax savings by month and year... Total payment (including other monthlies)... Only thing left is total payment post tax savings (ie deduct tax savings for real estate tax and interest)

Your upgrade ruined it. Bit was the best app but now I cant do half of things.

Fantastic app that I utilize weekly while I look for a home to purchase. The ability to hold multiple sets of values is quite clever and is helpful as well. Thanks to the developer

One of the most useful apps, I love it

I have used this app for a couple of years know with no issue, great easy calculator I am a realtor and the recent update got me in a real bind with a client recently. When projecting their estimated mortgage I imputed a monthly fee of $295 for the monthly condo/HOA fee and it did not carry over to the overall mortgage expense like it use to. Please fix this issue

Ive used this app for years and has been in my top list of real estate apps. I always recommend it to my clients and fellow agents. However, the latest version destroyed the UI and took away the ability to email the estimated payments and charts to my clients, who are now forced to download the app to be able to see their figures. Even though I recommend it to clients, I am not into forcing them to download or sign up for anything. Its just the way it is nowadays in 2014 you know? So, I will e glad to revise my review to 5 stars as long as we can email charts and figures to clients within the body of the email or an easy to open PDF attachment.

Im a real estate broker and use this app everyday. Its quick and simple to use. Im able to send the graphs and detailed reports to my clients educating them on different scenarios. Very happy with this purchase!

Easy to use, nothing to lose .

As a loan officer who often needs a "back of the envelope" calculation of costs at a seconds notice, this app has it all. Plus having 3 options that provide varying degrees of detail (basic, quick, and advanced) make this a versatile tool in any LOs arsenal. The best part is that I can quickly get a client or realtor hard numbers when Im nowhere near my office. Ive been looking for an app like this for quite some time and now have finally found it. Every loan officer needs to download this app.
